Hello, everyone! I hope you enjoy Friday evening when your kids are going into bed. I am glad to "meet" many ketoers on Instagram; we follow and support each other, shares our stories, favour dine out restaurants, and new cooking idea. I think Instagram is an excellent social media channel to share photos of our delicious food and before and after keto diet body shape.
Last week I introduced how to use carb manager app to monitor daily intake carb and fat. I think it is user friendly and make our keto diet life easier. This week, I am going to share with you something more practical, which is what we can eat at each meal and where you can buy it in Auckland? I think this is important to us ketoers since if the food is not easy to get or very expensive, it makes the keto diet not realistic. Therefore, it is good to know where to get the food before you start your keto journey.
I am used to drinking a black coffee and eat some yoghurt in the morning, and at lunchtime, I will eat avocado and have some salmon. At dinner, I will have some pork belly and broccoli cooked with olive oil. Most of the food you can quickly get it in the supermarket like Paknsave. For salmon, I will order it online like MtCook alpine salmon, which is very fresh. Aussie butcher or some Asian supermarket like Wang sell good quality meat.
